'That's hard, because I love both of them,' Elle Fanning says leading up to the big show Sunday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Given the fact that the latest installments in the blockbuster "Twilight" and "Harry Potter" film franchises are the first and third most-nominated films leading into Sunday's MTV Movie Awards — with eight nominations for "Eclipse" and six nominations for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" — we figured it would be fun to ask a few of our favorite celebs the most polarizing of all questions: Team Potter or Team Twilight?
"Wow, that's hard, because I love both of them," Elle Fanning told us of her divided devotion, made especially difficult because of the fact that Fanning's older sister Dakota appears in "The Twilight Saga."
"There's something really sexual about 'Twilight,' " superstar figure skater Johnny Weir pointed out. "And as an older gentleman, I enjoy that."
"Who doesn't want to be a witch or wizard and go to school at Hogwarts?" "Pretty Little Liars" star Troian Bellisario asked rhetorically.
"I'm going to have to remain neutral on that," "X-Men: First Class" star Michael Fassbender said diplomatically.
"You said you cried watching 'Twilight,' after 30 seconds," Fassbender's co-star James McAvoy pointed out.
"Dammit, James!" Fassbender exclaimed sarcastically, pretending to be embarrassed by some big secret he was trying to keep.
" 'Harry Potter' is more my generation," Camilla Belle said. "I remember I was in elementary school when 'Harry Potter' came out."
"I'd have to say [Team] Twilight," "Glee" star Chord Overstreet added.
"I'm a 'Potter' person, because 'Potter' got me reading," revealed "Friday Night Lights" and "Prom" actress Aimee Teegarden.
"[There's] something about vampires and werewolves that do it for me," Hilary Duff weighed in, bringing the unofficial poll count to three Team Potter members vs. four for Team Twilight.
At this year's Movie Awards, "Eclipse" (eight nominations) will be facing off against "Inception" (seven noms) and "Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (six noms). Voting in all the categories, from Best Kiss to Best Fight to Best Scared-as-S**t Performance and beyond, is currently under way over at MovieAwards.MTV.com. Voting is set to close June 4. But voting for Best Movie will stay open through the show itself, meaning you have a chance to affect the night's biggest winner up until the very last minute.
The 20th annual MTV Movie Awards air live Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Will vampires and werewolves own the 2011 MTV Movie Awards? Can wizards or dream thieves steal the Golden Popcorn? Find out June 5, when the 20th annual show airs live at 9 p.m. ET/PT. To get into the magical movie mood, we have Sneak Peek Week — five days of exclusives and interviews with the casts of "Fright Night," "Horrible Bosses" and more. As the Oprah Winfrey Show ends after 25 years we should celebrate this dynamic woman, a symbol of survival and success
Oprah Winfrey shattered every barrier put in front of her. Every single one.
All of her remarkable feats are a little hard to remember. After all, many of us under the age of 30 don't have a clear memory of a time when there wasn't Oprah. She's been an icon for the last 25 years, a shining beacon of calm beaming out from household televisions all over America in early afternoons. This feat is even more remarkable when one considers her upbringing ? a poor, sexually abused black girl growing up in the newly desegregated south, without many hopes for a grand or illustrious future. Yet, somehow, Oprah managed to become part of the fabric of American life. But what legacy does Oprah leave in her wake, departing in just five days from her eponymous talkshow? Is she the personification of the American Dream, or a savvy marketer, turning pop-psychology and insecurity into an industry?
Oprah has been a lot of "firsts". She is most known for being one of two African-American billionaires ever identified by the Forbes billionaire list ? and one of a handful of black billionaires worldwide. The road for black billionaires is tough: both Oprah and Bob Johnson (the founder of Black Entertainment Television) bounced up and down the rankings for a few years as their fortunes rose and fell. Oprah is currently the only African-American to grace the list.
But people don't connect with Oprah's money. In fact, in some ways, she seems almost embarrassed about her wealth, often proclaiming she is "not a business woman". Instead, she has relied on her tremendous power of empathy to allow people to connect with her. Brutally honest about almost all of her life, Oprah ushered in what some would call a "confession culture". While pop culture critics believe Oprah is indirectly responsible for the wave of tell-alls, memoirs and reality shows about increasingly banal subjects, it is easy to forget that back when Oprah opened the way, most of these issues were shrouded in secrecy. She openly discussed being sexually abused, her poverty, failed personal relationships and battles with her self-esteem. Before her, these topics were heavily stigmatised ? in many ways, they still are. But Oprah became a symbol of survival and success ? that you could tell the truth about your life, that you could be yourself, and still be successful.
That doesn't mean Oprah lives without criticism. She receives much attention about where she places her considerable influence. Oprah's "favourite things" show is a marketer's dream, placing products before a willing audience of millions ... and it comes with a printable shopping list. In 2007, she backed The Secret, which emphasised the power of positive thinking to "attract" good things into your life. It has been embraced by those needing a lift in life, but also widely denounced as "cultish" hogwash that ignores the real issues behind problems. In addition, Oprah is known for appealing to people by avoiding hard, unpleasant or complicated stories, focusing on personal conflicts as opposed to messier global or structural issues. With clear, person-focused solutions, or clear narratives of good and evil, Oprah appears to be out of her depth.
However, Oprah doesn't quite get her due when she does, occasionally, veer into controversial territory. In the post-September 11 fervour, she bucked the national trend toward war and retribution, instead running thoughtful shows on Islam. To help combat xenophobia in the wake of global terrorism, she invited Queen Rania on the show to discuss her faith. And, most tellingly, Oprah ran a series of shows questioning the validity of war as a solution to global problems.
Staunchly in favour of peace, Oprah found herself going toe-to-toe with George W Bush and Colin Powell, who were making a case for war. Oprah, in a cordial offensive, aired clips of people in other nations asking that the US give peace a chance. Despite Oprah's unwavering commitment to the education of girls across the globe, she declined an offer to join Condoleezza Rice's public relations visit to Afghanistan. The official reason was that the show kept her too busy ? but we all know that Oprah does what she wants, when she wants. The damning snub was a way of expressing her disapproval at trying to use the hallowed "Oprah effect" in the service of war.
Perhaps Oprah is best remembered for what she symbolises, as well as who she is. She represents a modified American dream ? from abject poverty in Mississippi to a glamorous international citizen. A woman who bets on herself again and again ? and seemingly always find the odds in her favour. A dynamic woman in her 50s, still on top of her game. And a truly, thoroughly, American icon.

Adding insult to injury, Nicole ?Snooki? Polizzi has had her license revoked following a run-in with an Italian police car yesterday (May 30).
The pint size reality star was in the driver's seat when her vehicle struck a nearby cop car - sending two police officers to the hospital for minor injuries.
By law, having harmed other motorists, Nicole has lost her right to drive in the country - however, things could be worse, as the injured authorities (who were actually hired to escort Polizzi and her castmates through the city) could take civil action against her.
A Florence police spokesperson revealed, "It was nothing serious and they have been released, but they will not be back at work for a week."

Stepping out for a weekend pick-me-up, Renee Zellweger was spotted leaving a Santa Monica Starbucks with a mystery male companion over the weekend (May 29).
The 42-year-old was all smiles as she hit the trendy coffee spot with her unknown pal, wearing sunglasses, a gray North Face jacket, and a pair of black leggings.
Renee, who split from "Hangover 2" hunk Bradley Cooper in March, is reportedly angry with her ex following an alleged hookup between him and actress Olivia Wilde, as an insider told, "Renee respected his decision and his motives but hearing about him dating another woman, a high profile actress at that, has not been easy for her."
The source close to Zellweger added, "She still has feelings for Bradley and feels like once again she has committed to the wrong guy.?

Todd Phillips' sequel has biggest opening weekend for a live-action comedy.

Two years ago, "The Hangover" writer/director Todd Phillips told MTV News: "I love 'The Hangover' so much and I think we could crush it with the sequel." In terms of ticket sales, at least, he was right.
"The Hangover Part II" crushed a box-office record over the weekend, grossing $86 million from Friday-to-Sunday, the biggest opening ever for a live-action comedy. Thanks to the Memorial Day holiday and a Thursday debut, the buddy sequel (which swaps Las Vegas for Thailand) has already made $117 million. "The Hangover" opened with $45 million in 2009. "Part II" stands just behind "The Matrix Reloaded" on the list of R-rated openings.
Another sequel, "Kung Fu Panda 2," was the #2 movie at the box office, according to studio estimates. Featuring the voice of Jack Black in the title role, the animated kids' flick debuted with $47.8 million over the four-day weekend. The movie's 3-D screenings accounted for about 45 percent of its business. The film's opening weekend total was less than that of the first film, despite many positive reviews. "The Hangover Part II," by comparison, was a flop with critics.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" took in $39.5 million for a two-week $153.1 million domestic total. "Bridesmaids" held strong with $16.5 million to come in at #4 with an $85.1 million total. "Thor" rounded out the top five with $9.4 million for a $159.7 million total.
Filmmaker Woody Allen's "Midnight in Paris" managed to enter the top 10 despite playing at only 52 locations. (By comparison, "The Hangover" sequel was available at over 3600 locations). Starring Owen Wilson and bolstered by strong reviews, "Midnight" was #7 at the box office with $1.9 million for a two-week total of $2.8 million. Also in limited release, "The Tree of Life," starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn, opened at four locations with $373,000.
Mutant superhero prequel "X-Men: First Class" hits theaters this weekend. As of press time, the latest entry in Fox's "X-Men" franchise boasts a perfect 100 percent positive rating with critics, according to movie review site Rotten Tomatoes. This weekend's limited releases include "Beginners" (starring Ewan McGregor), "Beautiful Boy" and the Ben Stiller produced "Submarine."

'I just felt like he could really walk that tightrope,' Craig Gillespie tells MTV News during Sneak Peek Week.

MTV's Sneak Peek Week has a lot to offer film fans in addition to exclusive screenings of highly anticipated upcoming movies, including our post-event Q&A sessions when the stars answer questions from the audience and reveal insider info about their projects.
At Monday evening's kickoff event with the vampire horror/comedy "Fright Night," Christopher Mintz-Plasse and director Craig Gillespie talked at length about why vampires are still hot commodities and how Colin Farrell came to take on his fang-tastic role.
"I think, honestly, [with] vampires, it's one of those things that actors love to do, because you're getting to play sort of an iconic kind of character that has all this history," Gillespie said of an actor's desire to sink his or her teeth into playing the undead. "You get to have a lot of fun with it, because there's this sense that it's not in reality.
"With Colin, it's a very dark character, but he has a humor about him," Gillespie added. "He's very sinister. Just trying to get somebody that can play that, walk that line, [like] he had in 'In Bruges,' which he's so funny in, and then he's played the very dramatic stuff, so I just felt like he could really walk that tightrope."
Mintz-Plasse added that although Farrell had a knack for tapping into the dark and comedic aspects of his character, Jerry the vampire, he also had a little fun with impersonating one of the more iconic vampires in cinematic history.
"It was really actually awesome to watch him act as a vampire," Mintz-Plasse said. "He would do however many takes he needed to do as that character, and then at the end of every [take], he would do his kind of 'Charlie, I'm coming for you' Dracula impression at the end. You could put together this whole [other] movie with Colin doing a Dracula impression. It's really, really cool to watch."
When we suggested that Gillespie add Farrell's creative interpretations to the DVD, he seemed receptive to the idea, so fingers crossed we see more of Farrell vamping it up, Dracula-style.

Mante "M-Bone" Talbert was the life of the party, and for their tribute song to their fallen bandmate, Cali Swag District wanted to reflect that. Last week CSD released "How to Do That," a single dedicated to M-Bone, who was tragically gunned down in Inglewood, California, on May 15.
"We wanted to do a song that's not sad, because M-Bone, he wasn't a sad person," Cali Swag's Yung told MTV News. "He was always hyper, had a lot of energy, loud. We want people to dance, we don't want people to sit down and cry when they think about M-Bone. We want people to smile and dance."
The track, which was produced by Poly Rob, has popping 808s and hand-clapping snares. Over the dance track, JayAre, Yung and C-Smoove all eulogize Bone in their own unique ways. But for Smoove, it wasn't easy, as he is still getting used to being in the studio without Talbert. "They did their verses and then I came later, but it was just like, it's weird being at the studio now. I feel like, 'Ehhh,' " he said. "I go up there, I still check in and stuff, I still record, but it's just different. I stay home most of the time, and then if I need to do a song, I'll go do a song, then I'll probably leave. I don't know, at the moment, I still gotta sit back and take it all in, before I can go back and just chill up there all the time."
Smoove took his time writing his portion of the song, making sure that his lyrics felt right. "I took forever to write my verse. I took a long time to write 16 bars. I wanted it to be and feel like I meant what I was saying," he said. "I had to make the lyrics fit the beat and make people still want to move to it and not bring 'em down by what I was saying."
On Friday, Talbert's family, friends and fans laid him to rest. His funeral service and burial were open to the public. Inglewood police are still investigating his murder and are asking anyone with information to come forward and call its homicide division at (310) 412-5246 or its 24-hour anonymous hotline at (888) 41-CRIME (888-412-7463).
